Great black and white photography PART 2



Clarence John Laughlin (1905-1985) 

He was american born photographer known for his surrealist photography. his as part of a middle class family in lake charles, louisiana, but after his family failed at rice venture he had to relocate to new orlands where his father worked in a factory. later he dropped out of high school in 1920 after his freshman year. He had a mass amount of love for poetry so he continued to write captions to accompany his photography. he actually discovered photography at the age of 25. Throughout the his whole career his favorite model was Dody Weston Thompson. Now he is known as one of the best surrealist photographers of his time. he passed away On January 2, 1985 leaving behind a massive collections of books and images.
